Math Summer Program: Sign Up Now!

We offer middle and high school level math programs. We recommend attending the full session, but you can choose to attend the half or the full session program. Small class sizes ensure that each student gets one on one attention from the tutor, as well as ample practice time on the interactive whiteboard daily.

Structure:

• 6th, 7th, and 8th grade math programs are structured for one hour per day, Monday through Thursday, for both the half and full sessions.
• All other math programs are structured for one hour forty five minutes per day, Monday through Thursday, for both the half and full sessions.
• The content covered in each class is based on concepts listed in US National Standards Curriculum. You can find additional content details by clicking on each of the program links below.
• Flexible Schedule - You can select the time slot that fits best into your schedule on the sign-up page, starting at 6am ET through 7pm ET.

Assessments:

• Pre-assessment to ensure your child is signing up for the right program and will be successful (in June to allow students to cover pre-requisite material through the school year). Students must pass pre-assessments with a grade of B or better to enroll in a program they have not previously taken. We recommend that students with grades C or D repeat that year's program to strengthen skills, and recommend students with grade F in the pre-assessments sign up for our one-on-one monthly unlimited program for individual help.
• Daily review of material covered in class and assigned homework/practice to ensure concepts introduced are truly grasped
• Weekly Quiz to validate learning level and point key weakness areas for revision and re-inforcement to tutor before progressing to new material
• Access to progress reports for parents
• Parent - Tutor conference upon request at the end of half session and full session

Other Requirements: You must have access to a PC with at least a 56K modem and 128Mb of Ram, and require that you have a microphone and headset, and a mouse. Speakers will allow your child to hear the tutor speak and a microphone will allow your child to speak to their tutor. A digital pen and pad is also highly recommended for Math students.
