Our tutors work one-on-one with you. They cover the curriculum at your pace to
ensure there is true understanding of the content material covered.

After you have signed up for one of our plans, schedule your session by picking the
subject, date, and time. You will receive a session confirmation email at the email
address you choose for notifications in your account.
Just sign in to your account at the time of the session. You will see a list of sessions
scheduled in the next 7 days. Click on the top-most session to initiate your session.
You will be taken to our online classroom where a whiteboard (much like the actual
blackboard) is available for the tutor and student to use. They can share documents,
write, erase, and chat via text and voice in the classroom. Our online classroom is
'locked' by the tutor after the student enters the session enabling a secure
environment wherein only a tutor and student scheduled for the session can safely
interact and exchange information.
Tutors log information about each session in the student's records. You can access
information about the content covered and the tutors notes about each session by
signing in to your account. A tutor can access your session history notes ONLY if
they are scheduled to have a session with you and they can ONLY access the notes
for the subject/content area of the upcoming session. If you are the parent of a K-12
student and signed up for the monthly unlimited plan, you can also request telephonic
conferences with your child's tutors in various subjects once a month to get a more
detailed perspective on your child's progress and the upcoming content material.
When you choose to cover subject/content material beyond what has been covered
in the child's classrom, we may request a brief assessment to understand the point in
the material from which the tutor will begin teaching. This helps us ensure there are
no foundational gaps in understanding the material. The curriculum taught by the
tutor will be closely based on your state or district's curriculum for that subject.
Students will also have access to free worksheets for most subjects to practice the
material they learn.
