The Founders

Dr. Daljit Kaur
Co-Founder and President

Dr. Kaur earned a Ph.D. in Education and has more than twenty years of teaching experience with Elementary, Middle, and High School as well as College students. She is certified to teach in Virginia, USA. Dr. Kaur is Department Chair and an educational consultant specializing in instruction, educational leadership, supervision and evaluation. In addition to her extensive work as a consultant and trainer, her experience includes work in regular education for K-12 as teacher of ESOL (content based History, Science, Language Arts, and ESOL Math), Special Education, Health, and Physical Education. She is utilizing her teaching strengths, knowledge, skills and experience to make Grades Grow Tutors very unique and to bring quality to our online tutoring program. As an ESL teacher, she works closely with students and parents from many countries around the globe. Her experience as a college lecturer in India and as an ESL teacher in United States has given her a unique understanding on how to work around weaknesses and build on strengths. Her philosophy of teaching is to always encourage students to become independent thinkers who build new knowledge based upon prior learning and become lifelong learners.

Dr. Kaur is a mother of a fifteen year old son and ten-year-old daughter. Dr. Kaur and her husband share a dream similar to that of other parents around the world - look for the best and most enriching way to help their children achieve academic goals and be successful in life. She is fulfilling a personal dream by providing affordable, convenient, and best-in-class online tutoring services to give students access to extra help and coaching through Grades Grow Tutors. She is encouraging parents to work together as partners to increase student achievement, develop their learning confidence and realize their full academic potential.

Sumeet Gill
Co-Founder and CEO

Sumeet is mother to a ten and four year old, and is always looking for an enriching experience for her children. She believes enrichment is not just by rote learning, but by intelligent and patient interaction and teaching by example. She co-founded Grades Grow Tutors with the belief that each child deserves the same learning opportunities and quality that she would like to bring to her own children. Her personal motto is to provide Best in Class Quality without compromises. She personally communicates with a lot of our clients to ensure they are meeting their goals and objectives with Grades Grow Tutors. She is also the technical visionary for the corporation - dedicated to ensuring that our children have the best tools and software available to learn in a safe and secure environment.

Sumeet's background is as a corporate Project Management professional, having led PMO organizations at Fortune 500 organizations. She developed processes modeled on Best Practices for various PMO's, and it is this experience that we leverage at Grades Grow Tutors as we continue to grow.
